Have you ever wondered about one of Project Zomboid's secret locations, what many veteran PZ players call a "military base"? Where is he? Why? What is the purpose? What happened there? Some answers and more questions ahead!

We are going to talk about one of the most famous people hidden in the game. If you want to explore the world of gaming and discover its secrets, DO NOT read this!

The game has been in beta for many years, and there are maps of the world of the game online, so many experienced players already know this place that many are used to calling "military base". However, this has been disputed, as the place is not a military base at all, and surprisingly there is little to be gained from investing here. So what is this place? Why is he here? What was (was) its function?

A Pair Of F 16 \

There are many symptoms to be found in sharp eyes, but there can be more problems than the results found.

Since there are many maps (and links) of the PZ game world online, the location of the base is not really a secret. The beginning itself is located near the western part of the map, deep in the desert, far away from everything. Looking at the map it is very visible from the surrounding desert.

It's easy to find heading west to Rosewood, but there's a catch: there are no roads to the base, just an overgrown forest path that's difficult to navigate.

Louisville Military Base

If you are new to Project Zomboid, personally, I would advise you to avoid visiting the base. It's a very long and dangerous process for very little gain (more on that later), and you'll most likely die along the way. So if you're just starting out in this game, there's really no need to rush. Get a run under your belt, "God willing," and if you can successfully survive the zombie apocalypse, make a pilgrimage to this place first.

Route A starts at the end of Rosewood. From Rosewood City, head south out of town and turn west at the intersection past the large Fossoil station. From there, continue west, following the gravel road through farmland until you reach the intersection with the gravel road. Follow the dirt road through the woods until you reach a fork in the road. (Continue in next section)

Route B starts from the east-west road and crosses the map above Rosewood. From Rosewood, go north until you reach the freeway and start driving west. Continue until you see a gravel road going south and turn around. Continue following the road which will turn into a gravel road, drive until you reach a spot on the road. (Continue in next section)

The next stage of publishing is the most difficult. From here it will be nothing but a deep wasteland where the game map doesn't help you much. There aren't any signs to show the direction, it will be very easy to turn around and get lost in the forest, so follow the directions carefully!

Turn right at the first intersection and head west. After a while there will be a path to the south, but keep going west. The road will take a sharp turn and when you come to the road, turn left here!

Where Is The Secret Military Base Location In Project Zomboid?

Note: Depending on how late game you choose to exit the site (and your games), there may be a lot of erosion! With the lack of a road, the rest of the road may be overgrown with trees and may be completely inaccessible to vehicles! You may have to walk a bit down the road and the button may not be recognized. Depending on the level of growth, you can still clear the path with an ax, but it is not possible. For this reason, if you wish to visit the base, it is highly recommended to do so as early in the game as possible! The paved road ends here and you will have an unmarked forest path the rest of the way! Continue west as you follow the path to (hopefully) clear the trees. You will come to a small stretch of dirt road with a fork. Follow the dirt track west and you'll come to an intersection. Continue west until you see a dirt road and follow it west. The path will turn gently, keep following the dirt south until you reach a gravel road. Follow it west until you reach a gate!

The entire area is surrounded by a wire fence, so the only way to enter the place is through the front gate. Depending on your difficulty level, the next section may be difficult.

Just beyond the gate you will reach the road junction. To get there, turn right and follow the road to the parking lot. You'll find the main entrance here may be full of zeds, so you'll need to use distractions or do a lot of killing to get in.

For easy access, turn left at the fork and follow the service road to the back of the building where you can enter via the dock. There might be a few zombies, but that's not a guarantee.

Great Base Location For A Group Of Survivors!

If you manage to enter the building, stay away! Even though you are in the middle of the place, there are a disproportionate number of zombies, so you will have to fight for every inch inside the base.

It is a large building and you will find many simple corridors, closed doors and not many windows. It's very easy to find corners here, just make sure you don't blindside groups of zeds or you'll never make it out alive! I hope you brought the ax I told you to bring (or the sword), because most of the doors will be locked. Unless you're lucky enough to get a key to zed, you'll have to fight your way through.

Most of the buildings are mostly offices, you can't see much except scattered papers and office supplies. In addition to the closet to the left of the entrance, there are three main areas that should be checked:

A closet behind the front door may contain equipment, and a weapon behind the safe room on the south side of the building. The kitchen behind this office may have food, but it rarely does. In addition to that, the doctor's room in the center can have first aid items as well.

No, actually, all of this is there. Depending on the difficulty and loot generated, you won't get much. If you came here with good weapons and equipment, I am sorry. I've heard from many players that they just didn't get anything good at all. This place isn't lootable, which is a bit confusing considering how hard it is to get here and the sheer number of zombies guarding it.

There is something very wrong, nothing is right! But why? Therefore we must look deeper…

Short answer: yes, but I would advise against it. While it may be good to have hidden tools like tools, it's a very bad idea for a reason.

Louisville Military Base

So aside from the "good" stuff, even though it's unlikely, the hidden base is a great option for protection.

From here on out, nothing but my thoughts and opinions about the lore and possibilities of the story. Not official/canon by any means! This is just my tutorial based on what I've seen in the game so far, so take it as you will.

The players call this place a "military base", I guess for lack of a better word (and it sounds better). In this book I have used words around "military bases"
